Originally made for the open exhibition "Pollinators" at Open Space Art Gallery in Ottawa Illinois. This piece shows the steps the worker bee takes in collecting the flowers nectar while in turn pollinating the flowers, then returning to the hive where they build the honeycomb to hold the honey they've made with the nectar.
- handmade in copper, brass, and sterling silver
- The top portion of flowers and leaves are all hand cut, formed and polished from copper and includes the tiny bee, cast in sterling silver.
- the honeycomb in the middle is handstamped brass
- it's completed with a hexagon shaped cabochon of genuine amber set in sterling and fine silver.
- the necklace comes on a fixed chain in a long, 3 short pattern of antiqued copper and 18" long.
- total length of the pendant is approximately 3.5long and 2.25"wide
